I had found Thorsten Klinkner via his website (Unternehmerkompositionen). I found it interesting that he mentioned specific figures regarding costs for the Liechtenstein foundation, among other things; with that, the website stood out from those of other tax advisors.

Since initial consultations are offered free of charge, I arranged an initial consultation.

The initial consultation is unfortunately with an assistant who, similar to Juhn Partner, ultimately unfortunately only goes through a questionnaire with you and writes down the answers. At the end, you practically receive the "price list," which of course was not published on the website.

General Information

The firm has quite obviously specialized only in extremely wealthy people. If I may say so, I would add that this likely concerns people who do not select their tax advisors too carefully – because here you very quickly pay the first €2.5k or then €25k without having spoken to the tax advisor at all beforehand and having evaluated whether you find him capable and whether the whole thing makes sense with him.

The observation that the second workshop takes place in a hotel by default also suggests that clients are being sought here who value appearances or let themselves be impressed by them (long workshop, high prices, on-site in a hotel), and possibly weight actual professional competence less highly. But that is presumably just my personal opinion..

In any case, this tax advisor does not seem to be a realistic option for "normal" people who simply want to solve their exit tax situation. Regardless of the price, he seems to have specialized in a slightly different area anyway, as he predominantly looks after emigrants from Germany to Switzerland and might possibly have less experience with exit taxation regarding other countries.
